Supervisor - Banquet Beverage

About the role

The Ritz Carlton hotel in Rabat is looking for a Banquet Beverage Supervisor. The position is full time and non-management, and involves overseeing the banquet beverage service team and supporting the hotel's high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the grooming and attire of staff and correct any deficiencies
• Communicate with guests and colleagues to meet guest needs and monitor dining rooms for seating, service, safety and guest well-being
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and scheduled inventories of supplies, food and liquor, and check stock and requisition supplies
• Handle the assigned bank, keep it secure and obtain change for expected business levels
• Announce the last call at the designated closing time
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining and coaching employees
• Follow company and safety/security policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality and company assets, and welcome and thank guests according to company standards
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (preferred)
• At least 2 years of related work experience (preferred)
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience (preferred)
• No license or certification required

Physical demands include standing, sitting or walking for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching overhead and below the knees, and moving through narrow or elevated spaces.
