Supervisor - Banquet Beverage

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton in Rabat is looking for a full-time Banquet Beverage Supervisor. The role ensures that the brand's standards of excellence are respected every day, with elegant and thoughtful service, and involves supervising staff, supporting guests and helping manage the banquet beverage area.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the grooming and attire of staff and correct any deficiencies
• Communicate with guests, colleagues and departments so that guest needs are met, and monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and guest well-being
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and scheduled inventories of supplies, food and liquor, and check stock and requisition what is needed
• Handle the assigned bank, keep it secure and obtain change for the expected business level
• Announce the last call at the designated closing time
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining and coaching employees
• Follow company, safety and security policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and welcome guests according to company standards
• Answer phones with appropriate etiquette and meet quality expectations

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 2 years of related work experience
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move through narrow or elevated spaces
