Director of Operations

About the role

Functions as the strategic business leader of the property's Hotel Operations. The role provides executive oversight of the Rooms, Food & Beverage and culinary divisions, ensuring operational excellence and the continued delivery of Ritz‑Carlton standards across the resort.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute property‑wide operational strategies aligned with the brand’s business objectives.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, occupancy, rates, wages and controllable expenses against budget.
• Lead the Rooms, Food & Beverage and culinary teams to achieve guest satisfaction targets and brand service standards.
• Review guest feedback, address complaints and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Facilitate employee communication, performance reviews and uphold fair HR practices.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in guest services, operations or related areas.
• Proven ability to manage profitability, revenue goals and cross‑functional hotel departments.
• Demonstrated experience in driving guest satisfaction and employee engagement within a luxury hotel environment.
