Food and Beverage Director

About the role

The Food and Beverage Director is the strategic business leader of the property's food and beverage and culinary operation, covering restaurants/bars, room service and banquets/catering where applicable. The role oversees departmental strategy, brand service strategy and brand initiatives, and drives revenue growth and financial performance. It is a full-time management position based in Marrakech.

Key responsibilities

• Set and maintain F&B goals, hold the leadership team accountable, and review financial reports to track performance against budget
• Develop and manage the F&B budget, monitor sales, ensure cash and liquor control, and protect profit margins
• Lead the F&B team, coach and mentor staff, and build an operating strategy aligned with the brand's business strategy
• Improve customer service by reviewing guest feedback and satisfaction results and taking corrective action
• Manage human resources: set performance standards, hire the leadership team, and coach staff
• Estimate food, liquor and beverage consumption, order and purchase equipment and supplies, and make CAPEX recommendations

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management or a related field
• OR a 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related major with 4 years of experience
