Legal Counsel (Program Delivery)

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its global programme delivery. You will join a dynamic legal team providing strategic advice across 54 country offices and multiple global functions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise country offices on legal risks related to procurement, programming, awards, finance and other contractual matters across five regions.
• Provide legal guidance to global teams on policy changes, transformation delivery, HR, partnerships, procurement, finance, treasury and fundraising.
• Support governance compliance for a worldwide non‑profit organization.
• Assist senior legal staff with managing contractual and risk projects and maintain relationships with global teams.
• Contribute to internal legal team initiatives such as training programs.

Required profile

• Qualified legal professional with experience advising international programmes or NGOs.
• Ability to work across diverse regions and cultures.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Flexibility to respond to humanitarian emergencies and adjust working hours as needed.
