Senior Cloud Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure advanced networking solutions on Google Cloud Platform for our Gemini Enterprise Agent platform. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cloud architects, SREs, and AI specialists to ensure high‑availability, secure, and scalable network services.

Key responsibilities

• Provision Private Service Connect pathways to link Gemini Enterprise Agents with internal databases, guaranteeing 100% data isolation.
• Develop, review, and test declarative Terraform scripts to automate network configurations and prevent manual drift.
• Utilize GCP Network Intelligence Center for connectivity testing, routing analysis, and packet health monitoring.
• Design and manage global application load balancers to handle conversational traffic with zero downtime.
• Create and maintain Cloud Armor rules, ACLs, and firewall settings to protect against DDoS and unauthorized access.
• Collaborate daily with cross‑functional teams to synchronize deployments and resolve platform‑wide issues.

Required profile

• University or engineering degree (Bac +5 or equivalent).
• 5+ years of professional experience with GCP networking.
• Active Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer and Google Professional Data Engineer certifications.
• Proven experience with BGP, Equinix Fabric, Twilio/Telnyx SIP trunking, and Microsoft ExpressRoute.
